The debut CD of The INSECTS ROCK! series.

I wrote and recorded this and volume 1 at the same time as volume 2

I considered packaging them together as a double-album but thought better of it.

Splitting them into volumes 1 and 2 gave the brand momentum.

I think every song in the collection is valuable and enjoyable.

It was because of the song that begins this very fine cd "The Insect You've Collected"

that I chose to make the characters insects. Since that time, each The INSECTS ROCK! cds

begins with a different theme song for the brand. Including the forthcoming volume 5!

   Some people, I think see the second song title "Why would I wanna wear diapers" and

mistakenly believe this is an album that is only for 2 or 3 year olds...nothing could be farther

from the truth. Yes, that song would be helpful for any child that age but "Some reasons we go to school"

"You're a part of the team" "Mommy won't get you everything" and "Don't bother Daddy on the telephone"

"Communication, Consideration (it's right to be polite) "We're a happy family" and the rest are just great

songs for the whole family. The cds include the full lyric fold out and bonus pics...but if you prefer downloads

 I purposely saved 2 of my favorite songs of the volume 1 and 2 batch for volume 2.

"Growing in the garden of Love" and "You say you're bored" are great songs! 

I love playing them live. If you're a fan of The INSECTS ROCK! you'll be glad to own volume 2.

Read the titles, this is a great companion cd to volume 1. However, we have continued to improve and grow

with volumes 3, 4 and 5! ( Look for 5 coming 10/10/10)

Traditionally, when a child heard the phrase "You're gonna get it" it meant punishment was

coming...kids who have this cd know what is forthcoming is parental or grand-parental love and good care.

"Dreamt, I was a seed" "Everyday I exercise" "It's more than a blanket" "Peanut butter and jelly"

"Standing here waiting" (happy being a tree)" "Sunshine, I really love you" "I'm gonna eat my vegetables"

along with "I'm gonna be myself" (when I grow up) "Have a good attitude" "It's ok to express you're feelings"

and "Life is like a t.v. show" make this a super cd for kids and the young at heart.

I had been inscribing the autographed copies of volume 3 with the phrase "Thank you for being alive!"

I felt so good when Ray Manzarak of the Doors said that to me during our first conversation that I

wanted to "Pay forward" the good feeling. When it came time to name Volume 4, It seemed the

natural choice. Beginning with yet another great theme for the forthcoming animated or live-action

series, this cd includes many fan-favorites and sounds as if we continue to improve. Volume 5

entitled "Something to Share" 13 new songs Lyrics and Music by Corey Leland & The INSECTS ROCK!

coming this fall season 10/10/10. is my favorite so far...start with any of the first 4 and enjoy
